These unique and powerful fast penetrating Oat actives are a complex of skin identical lipids including ceramides, they have been clinically proven to increase hydration, boost Hyaluronic acid and skin barrier function after 28 days of use. This was proven by testing this complex on 22 females (aged 35-68) over a period of 28 days which showed an increase in skin hydration by up to 26%.

These actives naturally increase and replenish the skin’s ceramide levels as well as repair, renew and protect the lipid barrier damaged through ageing or the environment, and strengthen the dermis, helping to prevent and manage signs of ageing.

This butter, found in Cupuacu trees in Northern Brazil, has the ability to penetrate the barrier layer and then retain moisture so is therefore a great skin hydrator and plumper.
Rich in fatty acids and antioxidants, Cupuacu butter deeply moisturises the lips, helping to restore elasticity whilst giving them a silky smooth finish.

Cupuacu butter is known for its rich content of phytosterols, or plant sterols to benefit dry, damaged lips and polyphenols to combat free radical damage and fatty acids to protect and moisturise the skin and lips.

Waxes need to be properly blended with oils in order to give an appropriate film which can be applied on to the skin of the lips. Jojoba is used for preventing the lips from dehydrating and for keeping the skin of the lips soft. For retaining natural moistness of lips, rosehip oil is preferred. We have used both Organic Jojoba and Rosehip Oil in our new Lip Treat.

However we do recommend keeping them away from direct sunlight, such as on a windowsill, as this may cause the product to evaporate or melt.
How much to use?

We recommend using enough of this product to thoroughly cover lips, you may need more if your lips are particularly dry.
