Retinol analogue Bidens Pilosa works to stimulate collagen synthesis and improve skin firmness. Hyaluronic Acid locks in hydration and boosts skin elasticity whilst Organic Macadamia Oil and Apricot oils come together to nourish smooth, soft and younger looking skin.

Beautifully fragranced with organic Rose Geranium, Ylang Ylang and Mandarin essential oils.

HOW TO USE

Begin by applying this firming body oil after your bath or shower to clean, damp skin, as this can increase its effect.

Start at your feet and massage the oil into the skin before moving up each leg.

Massage around the stomach area using gentle movements in a clockwise direction, then move up to applying the firming body oil to each hand, arm and elbows, before moving up and over the shoulders.

Complete your body sequence with sweeping movements over and across the décolleté and around the shoulders.

This sustainable plant-based alternative to Retinol from Bidens Pilosa works to smooth and plump up skin giving the appearance of younger looking skin. It also stimulates collagen synthesis which helps to improve the look of mature skin and helps to reduce UV spots (hyperpigmentation) by 36%.

Our Bidens Pilosa active ingredient provides “retinol-like” behaviour (it acts on the same receptors as synthetic retinoids) whilst being safe for continuous use, and can be used day or night. It offers skin firmness benefits whilst improving elasticity by 12%. Applied on the body, it provides skin smoothing benefits and helps to calm skin irritation.

An innovative active that locks moisture into the skin for long lasting hydration whilst helping to improve skin elasticity.

This ingredient has been tested and proven to have skin calming and skin barrier improvement properties preventing TransEpidermal Water Loss (TEWL). It also helps to improve skin elasticity and has been shown to be more effective than simple hyaluronic acid dispersed in oil.

Hyaluronic acid is usually used in water based formulations but we have used an oil soluble hyaluronic acid dispersion in oil for enhanced skin penetration for better activity. The small molecules of hyaluronic acid are evenly dispersed in the oil and get released into the skin nourishing it from the inside.

From the tropical tree Macadamia, Macadamia oil is very rich in skin nutrients and is also known to have one of the highest sources of essential and healthy fatty acids such as oleic, linoleic and palmitoleic acid, as well as proteins and vitamin E. It is lightweight
and non greasy and easily absorbed. It is a softening, nourishing and repairing oil.

Due to essential oils / fragrance allergens coming from our 100% natural fragrance blend, this product is not recommended for use during pregnancy.

How to store?

This product is housed in a fully recyclable glass bottle, which looks beautiful stored anywhere from your bedside table to your bathroom shelf. We use darker glass to protect our amazing natural actives and ingredients and allow your product to have a longer shelf life.

However we do recommend keeping them away from direct sunlight, such as on a windowsill, as this may cause the product to evaporate or melt.

How much to use?

We recommend using 4 pumps of this product in each application, and spread the oil out to wherever it is needed on your body.

How long does this last?

If you apply 4 pumps of this product 1x a day it will last approximately 9 weeks.

Why is Benzyl Salicylate listed in the full ingredients?

Benzyl Salicylate is not something we add to the product formula as a synthetic ingredient. It is a naturally occurring compound that exists in essential oils like Ylang Ylang, which we use in our natural fragrance blend in this product, for its beautiful, uplifting scent.
In our formula, the total level of benzyl salicylate is only 0.05% — a trace amount that is well below safety thresholds and far lower than levels typically used in synthetic fragrances.
