Jade Body Gua Sha: Smooth, sculpt and massage your skin with our green jade Body Gua Sha, designed to boost circulation, enhance detoxification and refine cellulite-prone areas for a firmer, more radiant body.
HOW TO USE

VITAL CLARITY MUSCLE MELT BALM:
Warm a small amount between your fingertips and massage into areas of tension such as the neck, shoulders, back or legs. Use after exercise, long days or whenever your body needs soothing relief.

JADE BODY GUA SHA:
Apply a light layer of the Muscle Melt Balm to create glide.
Choose either the flat or ridged edge of the tool, depending on the level of pressure you prefer.

Hold the Gua Sha at a 45 degree angle to the skin and use long, upward strokes towards the heart. Start at the lower leg and work up the calf, avoiding the back of the knee. Continue over the thigh using smooth, even pressure.

Repeat on the opposite leg, or focus on other areas that hold tension, such as the arms, shoulders or back. For a deeper release, use the ridged edge and work slowly back and forth over tight muscles.

A warm flush or light redness is normal and indicates healthy circulation. Bruising should not occur.

If using on areas that will be exposed to the sun shortly afterwards, apply SPF as your final step.

How to store?

This product is housed in a tube made of green plastic that comes from sugar cane bagasse, a waste product of the sugar industry. Life-cycle analysis done by the manufacturer of the sugarcane plastic shows that it absorbs more carbon than it generates in production. Which means you can store it anywhere you like, from your handbag to your bedside table, and once you're finished you can pop it into your normal recycling bin!
