Collection: Bio-Retinols

It is no secret that retinol is one of skincare’s most loved ingredients. It can help to tackle signs of ageing, correct pigmentation and can be used to fight breakouts. However, it works quite fast which can overpower some skin types and lead to irritation.

After many advancements in ingredient technology, there is now plant derived ‘Bio-Retinols’ which come in many forms such as Bidens Pilosa or Bakuchiol. These work on the skin in the same way as Retinol, helping to deliver the same benefits such as anti-ageing, and in laboratory testing it did not trigger the inflammatory pathways associated with retinoids.
